Labia Majora Augmentation by fat transfer
This procedure involves two steps.
Firstly, extraction of fat from the body using liposuction is done. Typically fat is removed from the belly or from the sides of the trunk or from thighs. The removed fat is then cleansed off the cellular debris. Local anesthesia will be administered in this procedure. Once the fat is removed and cleaned, it is slowly injected at different levels in the labia majora region.
Since this fat was once a part of the body, it is easily accepted in the new location by the body. Usually, the cosmetic gynecologist who is performing the procedure injects a little excess fat in the region. In most cases, a little bit of fat will be absorbed by the body.
The excess fat injected will be there to prevent drooping of the skin once a little fat is taken up by the body.
